Care Instructions

We do not recommend using string cleaners on Cleartone Strings. Simply wipe down strings after use with a clean dry cloth.

THE BEST

A good friend, who plays guitar in both a Country band and a Smooth Jazz band told me about CLEARTONE strings several years ago and I've never used any other string since. They tune and stay tuned faster, they play and sound better and they last considerably longer than any other string I've used. I recommend CLEARTONE strings to every guitar player I meet and put a new set of CLEARTONE ELECTRIC strings on a 1959 Harmony Stratotone H46 Mars that I recently sold to a friend and he says they sound fantastic and for new strings they stay tuned. The proof is in the pudding, as they say. I only wish they were still sold at the local Guitar Center. By far THE BEST GUITAR STRING YOU CAN BUY. Thank you so much.

The String That Keeps on Giving

I’ve been using Cleartone's Ph/Bz acoustic strings for more than 30 years. During that time, I occasionally veered off into Martins, D’Addarios and other brands but I kept coming back to CTs. Martins don't seem to last and D’Addarios are nice but too often put out a funky twang on the B string. In my experience, Cleartones consistently ring true and hold on to that sweet spot for a good long time. That said, I do not hear any appreciable difference in string volume so I’m calling BS on that but highly recommend CT’s phosphorous bronze to any acoustic player.
