The Cleartone Heavy Series builds upon our traditional nickel-plated sets, but are designed for alternative/drop tunings and extended range. They feature a thicker core to handle higher tensions and can withstand the aggression that comes with heavier styles of playing. Made in the USA in small batches to ensure premium quality, all Cleartone strings feature our patented treatment for long-lasting tone and performance.

Materials

All Cleartone Electric Strings are made in house from premium US sourced nickel plated steel.

Care Instructions

We do not recommend using string cleaners on Cleartone Strings. Simply wipe down strings after use with a clean dry cloth.

Excelent quality

I’ve used Cleartone somewhere between 8 and 10 years and I’ve always been satisfied with the quality, sound, but more important, the durability. I’ve tried other known brands and they always rust very fast.

Powerhouse Sound

The best feeling and best sounding strings. I've used them for years at shows and studio recordings, they bring that much needed punch and vibrance to every tune.

Excellent strings!!

I've been using Cleartone 10 -52's and the Pete Loeffler, (Chevelle), signature strings, 12 -65 and totally love them! Give Cleartone strings a try!

Best strings out there!

I’ve been playing on Cleartone for years. I like to experiment and try out new brands of strings, and Cleartone is the one I always come back to when it’s time to record or play a show. They last forever and have a great clean sound that I haven’t been able to match. Plus the ability to customize your string sets is a game changer!
