Cleartone Heavy Series Strings Pack a Powerful Punch

Prepare to go full beast mode! Some say if you put Cleartone’s Heavy Series strings on your guitar, they’ll put hair on your chest and you might unwillingly start howling at the moon. Complete with a thicker steel core and gauges so heavy they’ll rattle the Earth beneath your feet, you’re sure to unlock your guitar’s true metal potential with Cleartone’s Heavy Series Strings.

These strings aren’t for just anybody though. In fact, we have a gauge of string so heavy, it comes equipped with a warning label! Don’t say we didn’t warn you…They’re not only better equipped to hold lower tunings all the way down to B Standard (Drop A works too), the thicker steel core means they can really take a beating without you having to worry about them breaking on stage in the middle of your epic solo. That’s the worst, and we realize it! Also, they feature our award-winning, patented 1 micron thin “no-feel coating™” like all other Cleartone Strings we make so they will last you 3-5 tim9580-Coveres longer than any other uncoated set, and you won’t be able to tell they have any coating on them at all! You’ll have all the firepower at your fingertips to be heard over your bandmates and slay the stage as these strings also feature our patented VolumeBOOST™ technology. This is due to our proprietary string wrapping techniques & technology.

Under a microscope, you can really see a big difference in how evenly and tightly we wrap our strings compared to other brands of strings made overseas. Yep, all of our strings are made here in California, and since most of you I’m guessing do not have a microscope at your disposal, by comparing a set of our strings to others on the market, you’ll certainly notice the volume difference that our tighter string wraps create. We really pride ourselves on this, and although physically it is a difference barely noticeable to the human eye, it matters to us, and we know how important every little detail is to the end result on making the perfect string. We feel we have it just about perfected, and many famous artists are taking notice.

On our website, Josh Rand who is a big fan of our Drop D Heavy Series strings, can be seen on the www.cleartonestrings.com homepage sporting a set. The legend himself, Dave Mustaine, took notice of the hard work we all put in to making the perfect string and says, “I noticed a ton more volume. Cleartone Strings are amazing. That’s why I use them on all my guitars.” We released a signature 10-52 gauge “Light Top Heavy Bottom” string for him last year.

If you want to give these revolutionary strings a shot, they can be found at your local guitar shop at around a price of $12.99 per set. Click here to learn more and see the wide selection of gauges of strings we offer.

Below is a video of Megadeth at Gigantour 2013 playing “Hangar 18” in which of course, he’s rockin’ the Cleartone’s Heavy Series Strings on his guitar.
