Whatsup Cleartone,
I just wanted to contact you and say that, Cleartone strings are the best strings I've ever played. I myself sell guitar parts, I work at a place that rhymes with Sitar Letter. Anywho, I sell strings everyday. I never had really had anyone buy cleartones or tell me about them so I always pitched the D'Addario EXPs since those are the ones I had been using. That is until my Sales Manager came along and told me to put Cleartones on. I put Light Gauge Acoustic's on my $79 Silvertone Acoustic gutiar.... and.. well.. wow. The strings make the gutiar sound better then any Yamaha or Epiphone sounds brand new. Regardless this is a Silvertone ,the strings aren't going to turn it into a Martin, but MY GOD!@#%@#.. I love the strings guys. Keep up the great work, you brought me over with one pack.
-Siege.
I think you guys have given me something else to worry about, now Im not sure when to change my strings they sound so good all of the time! Seriously the best strings Ive ever had the privilege of playing in over 41 years of playing guitar. Keep it up!

I am a music pastor at our church and play 3 times a week plus practices for each, plus I play a minimum of an hour a day. In February, i went on a missions trip to Ireland, and decided i should string my guitar before leaving. Yesterday (9/8) I finally realized I should probably change my strings, even though they still sounded amazing, held a perfect tune, and hadn't broken.
Needless to say, i'm a permanent user of these things!

Hi, my name is John and I have been playing 6 string for 25 years. I bought a Yamaha LL26 because I felt it was the best sounding instrument in it's price range. I play finger style mostly and love the Yamaha's piano like clarity. I've experimented with alot of strings and settled on coated with no preference between Elixor and D'arrdario EXPs. Last month, however, I picked up a set of Cleartones out of curiosity. After the initial 1 hour break in I looked up at my friend who I jam with and said these are the best strings I have ever played. They have the sound of mediums but the feel of lights. Great balanced volume from string to string and a sweet organic voice. Nice! Thx Cleartone.

I have been playing guitar for about 6 years now and slowly picking up just about any other stringed instrument. I have had the same acoustic and gone through quite a few strings on it. I bought Cleartone strings because the salesman recommended them because they will last a long time and my guitar spends quite a bit of time in the case. When I got home and put the strings on I wasnt expecting much as far as tone since they were meant to last so long but they took my $150 acoustic guitar and made it sound better than it did the first day I got it. I have already recommended them to several friends and I will definitely be getting them when I have to replace the strings I just got. THANKS CLEARTONE!!!

Hello Clear Tones,
I've been a bass player for 30+ years, and about 10 years ago switched from a 4-string bass to a 5-string, and have been playing 5'ers ever since. I have always been a little disappointed with the sound of my B string, but learned to compensate by playing it harder to make it even with the rest of the strings. Even then, after about 2-3 gigs, and 4 weeks a of weekly practice and the B string needed replacing. I went in to Guitar Center the other day to get a new set, and they were out of the set I usually buy, so I talked myself into the Clear Tones. WOW! I have never had a B string on any bass I have played sound so good! I have had to relearn how to play my B string because it pops out there so well. I thought, Oh well, they're new, it will settle down. But it hasn't! It still sounds great. The Clear Tones are also very bright sounding compared to what I am used to, so a little amp tweaking has been done, but other than that, no bad side at all. They feel great, play great, and so far are lasting great.
I also make guitars and basses, and from now on, they will be delivered with Clear Tone strings, and I will recommend them to all my customers.
Thanks again,
Corey Reddell

I recently was introduced to Cleartones by a longtime friend/player. I put them on my Larrivee LSV 11 & my Froggy Bottom. I can't tell you how much better they both sound. I have had people come up & ask me if I bought a new guitar, after hearing my instruments w/ Cleartones on them. the sound GREAT, & play like a dream. I usually don't get really excited enough to send a note, but your product is way beyond normal strings.Thank you for a wonderful new life on my guitars, & keep up the good work...

I LOVE Cleartones and everyone who hasn't tried them...should. Right away! I'm worship leader out of Atlanta, GA and a Larrivee artist. When I got my first acoustic from them it said it had Cleartones on it. Prior to this, I hadn't heard of Cleartones. I was amazed! They are coated but don't feel like it. So you still get the tone you want with the life length you desire. You will be amazed by these strings!

Just wanted to say that after 6 months on my Carvin Bass, my cleartones still sound amazingly FRESH and new. Just did some recording too, with some Cleartones on my Jazz bass. I was most impressed with how even the low E string sounded in comparison to the rest of the strings. Really, really even tone across the board. I'm loving how I can keep a bass in my studio for 6 months, pick it up whenever I need to, and never have to worry about dead strings.
THANK YOU for making an incredible product.

I just tried your pb lights on my 1965 Gibson tenor tgo, It is sound like a whole other guitar. I have tried elixirs, I usually like them. I have tried daddrio exps, never liked them. But I have found the strings I will use from now on. The tenor guitar has life and has great harmonics with all the chords I play. It is lounder than a 6 string I heard recently. If you read this and you fell like your tenor guitar doesn't sound good try these strings. Thank you for a great product.

I tried coated strings like everyone else; I didnt like them. Cleartones are so bright and responsive, I forgot they were coated. Bend them in good health.

Just a little word of praise about your bluegrass strings. I have an older D-28 that I use for bluegrass gospel. I recently had a new bone nut, saddle, and indexed bridge pins installed by my local luthier. He put a set of Martin SP strings and I honestly could not tell a whole lot of difference in the loudness and tone quality. I just figured going from micarta to bone would really help my old box. I was in a shop recently and was talking with the guys there about what was the latest and greatest thing going with strings and they talked me into trying a set of Cleartone Bluegrass strings. I went home that night and set the guitar up on the bench and put the new strings on. Tuned it up to 440 and played a few chords, and my goodness the overtones. My old 28 was actually too loud. I let the strings settle in a couple a days and boy was I pleased. They had mellowed out and gave the most pleasing tone I have ever heard on this guitar. They have been on a couple of months now and sound even better. Bet you know what my next set of strings will be. Thanks for such a great product.

Dear Cleartone,
Im Mark Moss, a solo acoustic artist based in the Midwest. I average about 10 shows a month solo and with my band. I tend to shred pretty hard on my acoustics and was constantly breaking strings, using a lighter pick didnt help much. I read your ad in Acoustic Guitar magazine and was intrigued so I tried them on my main 6 string. I played them until one broke, that was about 10 gigs for 4-5 hours each before a broken string absolutely incredible.
Ive since switched to Cleartone for all my acoustic guitars, my 12 string has never sounded better and Im rarely stopping a song to change a string. The tone stays bright, the strings dont corrode, and best of all they dont break under extreme playing thanks for a great product!

Hello Cleartone,
I have tried many different strings over the decades of playing and performing (live and in the studio) but have never found something that could bend so well and stay in tune over multiple shows, until i found Cleartone. I never really paid much attention to the brand of strings i used until i discovered these. The way they hold their tone and tuning, even while bending WAY outside the normal realm, continues to amaze me. The durability - whether in a smokey bar, basement studio, outdoors, or a dusty theatre - is astounding! They also seem to last three times as long as other brands i have used! The residue from my hands has destroyed strings in the past but this has not been a problem with Cleartone, and that is something that amazes me. I have also found that it takes A LOT to break them (and i have tried)! They also carry great tone from low to high - and that's quite incredible.
The first time I tried a set of long lasting bass strings from another company, I was completely turned off. They sounded old right out of the package and when I buy new bass strings, I want them to sound like new bass strings. Needless to say, I was skeptical when the guys at Cleartone asked me to try their strings. The first surprise was the way they sounded out of the package. Bright and clear with a strong tone center. The next surprise became the gift that just kept on giving. I played those strings for months during the Summer in Florida. I even played some outdoor gigs under really high heat and humidity conditions. Every time I pulled the basses out of their bags to change the strings, I realized that they didn't need it. I sold the basses that Fall with the Cleartones still on them. The buyer called me to thank me for putting on new strings before I shipped.

So I went back to traditional strings (non-coated) and dealt with constant changing of strings. I hate changing strings. I recently purchased a new Larrivee acoustic. It is an incredible guitar. I was very impressed with the tone of the strings, very clear and balanced. After I played it a while I called the store to find out what strings were put on it. They informed me it came from the factory with CLEARTONE STRINGS. When I went to buy a pack (not that they needed replacing, just as a backup) I could not believe they were coated strings. It was not until I purchased a set that I knew they were coated. Thanks for making coated strings you can not tell are coated.

HI,
My name is Mikey Wood,
I have used every brand of guitar strings that I have seen but, when I put cleartone guitar strings on my guitar and played them, I found that Cleartone guitar strings are the best and I will always use them for my guitar.
God Bless,
Mikey Wood

These have been just unbelievable in terms of playing out. I have used elixirs for years and always seem to have two problems, breaking and flaking. Yours have not done either and have lasted twice as long. There is nothing more embarrassing or frustrating as breaking a string in the middle of your set with a brand new set of strings, that simply should not happen. Also, the nasty looking flake of a poorly engineered coated string. With yours I have not been embarrassed or frustrated in using. That is invaluable in touring!!! Thanks again Cleartone, keep up the good work and I am trying to get your name out there, I am always recommending you to anyone who asks.

Dear Cleartone - I've been playing guitar for 29 years. I've worked with Sophie B. Hawkins, Phoebe Snow, David Lasley, James Maddock, David Benoit, etc. I have to tell you that strings are exremely important to me and for the FIRST time in my career, I found a string that really makes me excited about playing! I can't put the guitar down! I got rid of all the other strings I own and plan on using these strings exclusively.
I'd love love to know if you do any kind of endorsement deals.
Best Regards,
Drew Yowell

Your strings have solved a big problem for me. Not only do they sound good and feel excellent, they last! I appreciate that fact as I usually have to change strings before every gig or Ill snap a few. Once again, thank you. Ill be purchasing your stings for my electrics and acoustics in they future.
Sincerely,
Brad Barnard

My name is Dave Gainer and have been playing both semi and professionally for over 40 years. I first tried your electric 11/48's (#9411)on my Taylor T5 because I can't stand the Elixirs they put on at the factory. I was blown away by the clarity and focus compared to the Ernie Balls I usually use. I was so impressed I put your PB's on my Taylor 615 and 714 with even better results. It's almost like getting a new Guitar. My dealer has not been able to get the 12 string set for my 655 but I can't wait. I was using Daddario EXP's on my acoustics but that is now history. I haven't worn any out yet so I can't say how long they last, but I'm already a month longer than EXP's. Thanks so much for this new technology. Maybe you should sell them on your website so availability wouldn't be a problem.

The R&D techs at Cleartone found the Fountain of Youth for guitar strings. Pretty smart, if you ask me. But if they're so smart, didn't they realize that Cleartone customers aren't going to buy as many sets of strings now, since a well-played set of Cleartones stay great-sounding for half a year? Answer me that, Lab-Coat Boy!

I'm Buck Storm. Singer / songwriter. A full time traveling musician, playing across the U.S. and abroad. Mostly churches and festivals. I've been using Elixirs on my 67' Gibson Hummingbird for the last two years but I wasn't all that happy with the tone. A music store tried two sell me some Cleartone stings in Phoenix not long ago but I passed and opted for some coated Martins instead. They lasted exactly one night and died.
I finally bought your strings in Idaho a week or so ago and love them. Great natural tone and they still sound like they did when I put them on.
Thanks for making life easier and better sounding!

Your strings are proof that evolution exists and is a good thing. I, like many others, had the Elixir brand shoved down my throat for years. Never like them, still don't. They break and they sound... fake, for lack of a better word. I noticed the Cleartone name at a music store and asked the guy at the counter about them. He didn't know anything about them (strange, considering the product was in his store) but I figured, What the hell? and sprung for a set. I was amazed by the tone and playability of the strings! The first set I bought lasted longer than I ever could have imagined. I probably didn't even need to change them when I did. Needless to say, I ordered several more sets from the internet. I can't say enough about your product and I've been singing their praises to anyone who will listen. Although I'm not an official endorser of Cleartone, of course, I am certainly an unofficial one, and will not stop recommending your strings to all of my fellow musicians in the area. I don't know if you need any endorsers, or are interested in going that route, but I would certainly be willing and able. Thank you all again for making such a fine product.

THANK YOU for making such a high-quality product and teaching me that string brand can make a HUGE difference.

Dear Cleartone,
I just tried a set of your phosphor bronze strings. I did two concerts 2 clinics and one private lesson over a 2 day period. I use at least 30 tunings during a performance and the strings held up and sounded great. I used to really love the Alchemy strings by Dean Markley, but you guys got me rethinking this string thing. Thanks again.

To all at Cleartone:
I currently have an endorsement deal with another string company but I want to endorse your strings! I put a set of 10's on my 335 before a big show at the TLA, sweat all over them, wiped down the guitar after the show and next time I played the guitar the strings were like new! I never go more than 2 shows with a set (usually 1) but yours have lasted more shows than I can count! They are only now starting to sound a bit dull after 2 months! I can see now the higher price is entirely justified. I would have used 10 - 15 sets of my usual strings by now. Need any endorsers??!!
I couldn't believe that Guitar Center doesn't carry your strings [They do now - ed.], they are the best there are. I had Cleartone .009 .011 .016 .024 .032 .042 strings on my strat and they sounded just fantastic, (pure tone) is right. On my acoustic I was using your .011 .015 .024w .032 .042 .052 gauge strings and I couldn't believe how brilliant the sound was, people noticed the big difference in sound and were inquiring about the guitar I was using, I told them - Never mind the guitar, it's the strings. I have Elixirs on both of my guitars now and I must say, I like your strings better. Much better. They just don't create as crisp of a note. Thank you very much for your time and for producing the finest strings on the planet.
Whoever came up with the Harmony Central promotion should get a big raise at Cleartone. I would not have departed from Elixirs had it not been for that promotion but I figured for free its worth a shot. The strings arrived and sat in my studio for a couple of weeks. Then came time to restring one of my guitars. Got the strings on my guitar and played, WOW! Great tone, great feel, great experience playing with them. Went and bought two additional sets right away for a couple other guitars. I think youll have a player for life in me. Im sure theres a lot more like me out there who will join the Cleartone family now. Just wanted to say thanks for a great product. Have to pay more for them but hey, the best is always worth a few extra bucks!

Hi my name is Barry Buchanan I am just an average joe strummer. I play rhythm mostly gospel and country. I bought a Martin D-15 custom in September of '04. First thing I did was pull off the stock strings and put on Elixir Nano Web lights. I have replaced the saddle on the D-15 with bone and the string pins with John Pierce bell brass Kingpins, all in an effort to enrich tone quality which was good to start with, but always room for improvement. I ran through about 5 pairs of Elixirs and then all of sudden stated breaking G strings left and right. I couldn't find anything wrong with the guitars hardware so I changed strings and went to John Pierce 600L. They sounded pretty good especially if you like a bluegrassy bright sound. The problem was with regular playing you could hear them start dying after about three to four days and at a week max I was changing them. So they were costing as much as the Elixirs and I was changing strings twice as much, not my favorite thing to do. Buck Storm gave me a set of Cleartones to try out. On his '67 Hummingbird they sound awesome. I can't believe the even tone and projection I am getting. Very nice lows and bright highs. Good job guys!

For a Midwestern guitarist, I'm about as busy as it gets. I average about ten shows a month, and play my working guitar at least 2 hours every day. Strings have a way of not lasting too long with me, and they ALWAYS break at really inopportune moments. I always thought that when you've been working player for over three decades, you not only play smoother, but your breakage is supposed to slow down. About a year ago; another player gave me a set of another major brand of coated strings to try out , and I just didn't like the sound. A few months later; I was doing some horsetrading, and the guy at the shop had to throw in some strings on a deal. He threw me a set of Cleartone 10's. I put em' on my Tradition, and went at em'. These things stay brite and clear. AND...they stand up to the bending nightmare that I like to call my style...and they beg for more. They have an incredible timeframe of utility, if you ever have to push it, too. I absolutely could not be more impressed with a guitar string!
THANK YOU for making such a high-quality product and teaching me that string brand can make a HUGE difference.

My name is Brant Christopher. I am a singer/songwriter that plays about 120 dates a year. I was given a set of your strings from one of my endorsees, a custom luthier, and he asked me to let him know what I thought of them. Well, I have been an Elixir guy for the last 5 years. I havent found anything that could compete with the strength and durability of those strings. Until now. One of my Endorsements is through Bose. I endorse their L1 Personal Amplification System. The tone of this system is very sensitive to string noise. I have been stunned by the brightness and slight edge to your strings. Best of all, the tone is only outdone by the durability. I have the .13 on all my guitars and that is where they will stay!
