It’s being said that Nashville, Tennessee weather could get pretty hot in a couple weeks, but one thing is for sure: 2014 Summer NAMM will be HUGE! July 17-19, 2014, Nashville’s own Music City Center will host the 2014 Summer NAMM Show which will see over 11,000 registered attendees including local community music store dealers, employees and buyers from around the country. Attendees will get a chance to network and celebrate with the Top 100 US Music Dealers, take part in hands-on demos of brand new products, and connect with industry media, including reporters from local and national networks.
Cleartone Strings of course will be attending as an exhibitor at booth 1525 to showcase our premium line of strings and accessories. Don’t miss it! Swing by our booth and check out some of the fun stuff we have happening out there. Demos of our “no-feel” coating & Volume Boost technologies will take place and of course we will have FREE stuff to give away! We’ll make it worth your time, that’s for sure.
Among all the madness includes an entertainment schedule full of talented live performances booked throughout the weekend on the Acoustic Nation Lobby Stage including Goldmouth from Germany,(winners of SchoolJam Germany at Musikmesse 2013), Nashville’s own ukulele favorites The Ukedelics, The John Hammond Organ Group and many others. For those poor unfortunate souls unable to make it out to Nashville this year, the Summer NAMM homepage will host a live stream of each performance. Click here for the streaming schedule.
On Saturday July 19th from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Music Industry Day will take place at NAMM which includes an inspiring selection of seminars and performances to attend for musicians. Among the many events are, “How to Build the Ultimate Pedalboard” featuring Paul Riorio from Guitar World Magazine, a film screening of the movie “Turn it UP!” hosted by Kevin Bacon, a talk on the “10 Keys to Marketing Success for Musicians,” by Laura Whitman from Mad Sun Marketing and many other can’t-miss events. You’ll even get to witness the Finals for “The World’s Fastest Drummer!” Make sure you get your tickets in advance for $10 because they’re charging $20 at the door. You heard it here first!
They call this NAMM 2.0 as this is only the second time that Music City Center has hosted the event. Although it is new, the venue is outstanding according to rave reviews from 2013. It’s in a state-of-the-art facility with a wide green pavilion, allowing ample, comfortable space to host events. Entertainment will be pleased with it as it is also a beautiful venue for art and musical performances. Best of all, it is right next to the Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame so there are plenty of places to entertain folks before and after the NAMM show.
We invite YOU to swing by Cleartone Strings booth 1525 and meet us! See you there!
